All relevant patent documentation is being analysed by a specific preprocessor which has been developed by IPCentury.
The preprocessor selects through a semantic analysis process all relevant criteria which are important for claims and publications and stores these data in a relevant datastructure in the knowledge base.
By using tags, parsers, technical dictionairies and classification information (ECLA/USC) combined with semantic analysis and clustering the preprocessor generates through a multilevel iteration process so called "means and effect combinations" which are analysed as criteria of relevant patent documentation and will be stored in a neuronal datastructure.
By means of those functions which were determined through the neuronal datastructure, characteristic vectors are calculated and defined and the patent search will consequently be dealt with by a specific vector-retrieval process in the knowledge base.
Research Modules
According to the questions in a patent process IPInquest offer the following research modules:
- R(esearch)
- D(evelopment)
- B(usiness)
Each research module is a separate module and can be run independantly from the others.
Profile Search
By means of "profile search" users can minimize the amount of data to be searched and individually define search profiles.
